General
What SimpleSync is, who it's for, and how it works at a high level.

SimpleSync places certified specialists from our Medical RCM and Technology & Development teams directly into your business within 10 days. Your specialists work inside your systems, report directly to you, and integrate with your team the same way a direct hire would.

We remain the Employer of Record, handling all payroll, benefits, and insurance. You get the operational capacity without the administrative overhead.

The practical difference: local hiring takes an average of 4 to 8 weeks to fill a role and another 4 to 8 weeks before someone is fully productive. If they don't work out, you start over. With SimpleSync, your specialist is inside your systems in 10 days. If the fit isn't right, we replace them within 10 days and can begin identifying the replacement while the current specialist is still active, eliminating any gap in coverage.

We serve two primary client profiles:

  • Medical RCM: Independent practices, multi-site groups, and healthcare networks that need certified billing and coding capacity without expanding local headcount.
  • Tech & Dev: Startups, scale-ups, and established companies that need to move faster, clear technical debt, or staff engineering capacity without a 4 to 6 month local hiring process.

If you're operating with an operational capacity gap that's actively limiting your revenue growth or team velocity, SimpleSync is built for you.

Our talent network is global, giving clients access to top-5% expertise and the ability to reinvest that capacity directly into revenue growth and team performance. SimpleSync's executive oversight and account management team is based in Salt Lake City, UT · Bellevue, WA.

All specialists operate during your business hours, inside your systems, with nuanced English fluency verified as part of our selection process. Clinical comprehension for RCM roles, technical comprehension for engineering roles. Not just conversational ability.

Ten days from contract signature to staff active inside your environment, every time. The timeline:

  • Day 1: 15-minute mapping call to understand your workflow, system, and gaps
  • Days 2 to 4: Specialist selected from our talent team based on your specialty and requirements
  • Days 5 to 6: VPN access configured, onboarding documentation completed
  • Day 10: Staff deployed and working inside your environment

Because our talent team is built and ready, there are no sourcing delays. We select and deploy.

Every SimpleSync engagement has a dedicated US-based account lead accountable for performance, communication, and escalations. You are not managing remote specialists directly. We handle that layer entirely.

Your account lead conducts monthly performance reviews, tracks KPIs against agreed benchmarks, and is your single point of contact for any issue that needs to be addressed quickly. If something isn't working, you escalate to a person in your timezone, not a support ticket queue.

SimpleSync is an Employer of Record and operational infrastructure firm: not a placement service. We recruit, clear, deploy, manage, and are accountable for outcomes. The differences that matter:

  • We build and maintain our talent team before engagement, not on request
  • We deploy inside your environment. No third-party platform, no data leaving your perimeter.
  • We maintain US-based account management, not a placement and step-back model
  • We report on KPIs monthly: denial rates, velocity benchmarks, and output metrics
  • We operate on Rolling 60-Day Terms. No placement fee lock-in or long-term contract pressure.
Medical RCM
EHR access, denied claims, specialty coverage, and how our billers actually work.

Our specialists work directly inside your EHR. They are not using a separate billing platform or middleware tool. Commonly supported systems include:

  • Epic / MyChart
  • Kareo (now Tebra)
  • Athenahealth
  • AdvancedMD
  • eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Practice Fusion, Modernizing Medicine, and others on request

If your system isn't listed, contact us. If it supports VPN-based remote access, our team can almost certainly work within it.

All medical RCM staff are credentialed and HIPAA-trained. Certifications are verified active and current before deployment as part of our standard credential validation process. Common credentials held by our specialists include:

  • CPC: Certified Professional Coder (AAPC)
  • CPB: Certified Professional Biller (AAPC)
  • CPC-A: Associate-level CPC for supervised roles
  • Specialty-specific credentials in Dermatology, Ortho, GI, Cardiology, and others

BAAs (Business Associate Agreements) are executed as standard before any medical engagement begins.

We match specialists to your specific specialty, not general billers who handle everything vaguely. Current specialty coverage includes:

  • Orthopedics (joint injections, arthroscopy, arthroplasty)
  • Dermatology (Mohs surgery, destruction, biopsy)
  • Gastroenterology (colonoscopy, EGD, polypectomy)
  • Pain Management (epidurals, trigger point, transforaminal)
  • Cardiology (echo, left heart cath, ECG)
  • Behavioral Health (psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation)
  • Ophthalmology (comprehensive eye exam, cataract surgery)
  • General Surgery (cholecystectomy, hernia repair, appendectomy)

Denial management is one of the core functions our specialists are deployed to handle. When a claim is denied, your specialist identifies the denial reason code (CO, PR, OA), determines the correct resolution path (correction and resubmission, appeal with supporting documentation, or patient responsibility transfer) and works the claim through to closure.

We track denial recovery rates per client and report on them monthly. Our current average denial recovery rate across active clients is 94%.

Yes. Prior authorization management is a standard capability of our RCM specialists: initiating auth requests, following up with payers, documenting approval or denial, and escalating urgent cases.

Authorization delays are one of the top three revenue killers for specialty practices. Dedicated coverage for this alone often pays for an entire engagement within the first 30 days.

Our specialists are trained to work within your payer mix. They access your contracted fee schedules, ERA/EOB data, and payer portals through your environment. During the mapping call, we document your top payers, known contract nuances, and any recurring denial patterns specific to your practice so the specialist is briefed before day one.

Payer-specific knowledge is captured and documented as part of the onboarding process, so it's retained even if specialist coverage changes.

Your US-based account lead monitors performance against agreed KPIs monthly. If results aren't tracking on denial rate, clean claim rate, or A/R days, we identify the root cause and adjust: specialist reassignment, workflow reconfiguration, or scope expansion.

Because our agreements are Rolling 60-Day Terms, you're never locked into a non-performing engagement. If we can't demonstrate measurable improvement within the first 60 days, you have every right to walk. In practice, our client retention rate is 92%, because the results are there.

Tech & Dev
Tech stacks, access, IP ownership, and how engagements are structured.

Our engineering talent pool covers a broad range of modern stacks and disciplines. Commonly placed roles include:

  • Full Stack: React, Node.js, Python, Django, Next.js
  • Backend: Go, Java, .NET, Ruby on Rails
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Mobile: iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, React Native
  • QA & Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Jest, manual QA
  • Data Engineering: Python, Spark, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake

If your stack isn't listed, ask us. The depth of our network means we can likely source for it.

Yes, always. Our developers access your GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, AWS console, or whatever toolchain you use through your VPN or VDI environment on client-provisioned devices. They do not use personal machines, third-party development environments, or any platform outside your controlled infrastructure.

Your code never leaves your perimeter. That's not a policy statement; it's an architectural reality of how our model works.

You do. 100%, unambiguously. All work produced by SimpleSync developers is owned entirely by your organization. This is explicit in our engagement agreement. SimpleSync staff operate under full NDAs covering all code, architecture decisions, business logic, and any proprietary information accessed during the engagement.

We are a workforce provider. IP ownership never transfers to SimpleSync under any circumstance.

Our developers integrate into your existing sprint cadence. They don't require a separate process layer. If you run Agile with two-week sprints and daily standups in Slack, your SimpleSync developer joins that. If you're less structured, we adapt to you.

Monthly performance reviews with your US-based account lead cover velocity benchmarks, ticket completion rates, and any escalations. We don't add overhead. We remove it.

All SimpleSync staff, regardless of service line, work your business hours. If you're operating in EST, your developer is online EST. This is non-negotiable in our deployment model.

Real-time collaboration with your in-house team requires real-time presence. You will never be waiting hours for a Slack response because of a timezone gap. To prevent fatigue and ensure high-quality output, we intentionally source from nearshore hubs or hire specifically for dedicated overlapping shifts with premium compensation.

Yes. Our Rolling 60-Day Term model accommodates both ongoing capacity and project-scoped engagements. Many clients engage us specifically to clear a defined backlog (tech debt remediation, a migration, a feature sprint) then scale down or off once the objective is complete.

During the mapping call, we'll discuss your timeline and scope so we can right-size the engagement from day one.

Security & Compliance
Data handling, certifications, personnel clearance, and incident response.

Your data never touches SimpleSync infrastructure. Our staff operate as endpoints into your environment. They connect via encrypted VPN, perform work inside your systems, and disconnect. No data is downloaded, stored, cached, or transmitted to any SimpleSync server or third-party platform.

We are not a data processor in the legal sense. We are a workforce operating inside your data perimeter. Your environment is the only place your data exists.

Yes. Our model is specifically engineered to meet and exceed HIPAA technical safeguard requirements under 45 CFR §164.312, covering access controls, audit controls, integrity controls, and transmission security.

Because no PHI is ever processed on or transmitted to SimpleSync systems, the compliance burden on our infrastructure is structurally eliminated. All medical RCM staff are HIPAA-trained, and BAAs are executed as standard before any medical engagement begins.

SimpleSync operates in alignment with the following regulatory standards:

  • HIPAA: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
  • PCI DSS: Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
  • GDPR: General Data Protection Regulation
  • TCPA: Telephone Consumer Protection Act
  • DPA: Data Protection Act

We also conduct annual independent risk assessments. Relevant documentation is available to clients on request.

Every specialist clears a full five-stage personnel vetting process before being placed with any client:

  • 7-year criminal history check, national and local
  • 10-panel drug screen, pre-deployment, with random spot-check capability
  • Employment history verification against claimed experience
  • Credential validation: all certifications confirmed active and current
  • Live skills test: real tasks executed live, passed at 98% accuracy

Personnel security is the first layer of our overall security model. Technical controls mean nothing if the person behind the keyboard hasn't been cleared.

Because all activity occurs inside your environment and all access is VPN-authenticated with MFA and session-level audit logs, any anomalous behavior is detectable through your own monitoring infrastructure, not just ours.

In the event of a suspected incident, your US-based account lead is your immediate escalation point. Access can be revoked by your team at any moment since credentials are issued and managed entirely by your organization. We never hold access keys independently.

Yes, and this is one of the structural advantages of our model. Because your staff operate inside your VPN and on your systems, all access is logged through your own infrastructure. Session logs, access records, and audit trails are captured by your environment and are fully visible to your IT and security teams at any time.

You don't need to request logs from us. They're already in your possession, captured by your own tooling.

Contracts & Pricing
How pricing works, what you're committing to, and how to get started.

No long-term commitment is required. SimpleSync operates on rolling 60-day terms. You can elect longer fixed terms up to 1 year to lock in market rates, but there is no annual lock-in or multi-year commitment required by default. Our 92% client retention rate reflects the results we deliver, not contractual lock-in. With a 60-day mutual notice, you can scale up, scale down, or end an engagement with standard notice at any time.

Pricing is per-specialist, per-month, based on role type, specialty, and seniority level. SimpleSync absorbs all payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance as the Employer of Record. You pay for output, not administration.

Exact pricing is scoped during your mapping call based on role type, specialty, and engagement depth.

The monthly rate includes the specialist's time and work output, US-based account management, monthly performance reviews, and ongoing QA oversight. There are no setup fees.

The vetting, matching, and deployment coordination required to get your specialist live in 10 days is included in the engagement, not billed separately as a placement fee.

Yes, and it's common. Many clients start with one specialist to validate the model, then expand once they see results. Adding a second or third specialist follows the same 10-day deployment process.

Simply notify your account lead and we initiate the selection process for your next specialist. There is no delay and no additional onboarding overhead on your end.

If a specialist isn't performing to the standard agreed upon at deployment, notify your account lead. We will assess, address the root cause, and if necessary, replace the specialist, typically within the same 10-day deployment window.

You are not locked into a placement. Our model is built around outcomes, not headcount. If the person isn't delivering, we fix it.

Schedule your free 15-minute discovery call. We learn the specifics of your business and your needs. If we can help, we send you a Discovery Form to complete at your convenience. It covers the specific details we need to begin selecting the right specialist for your role and environment.

Once we receive the completed form, our selection process begins and your 10-day deployment window is in effect. You will have a specialist inside your systems within 10 days.
